ERS-1/2 Tandem Campaign

The ERS-1/2 Tandem field experiment took place in November and December of 1995. During the experiment, two marine radars and a oceanographic buoy were used to measure waves and currents in the Norwegian sector of the North Sea. The measurements were taken during the passes of the ESA satellites ERS-1 and ERS-2. The campaign was carried out on board the German research vessel Gauss from the Federal Maritime and Hydrographic Agency of Germany, BSH.
